These cast concrete kitty guys were born from a copy of Poitier’s Cat we purchased to hang over our front door after having the front of our Philadelphia row home rebuilt. However, the hydrastone was not made for outdoors, so we made a rubber mold of the original and cast a concrete one for over the front door. But it seemed wrong to let the mold go to waste after just one cast – plus, we’d been somewhat inspired by the outdoor spaces when we visited Dali’s Pubol a few year’s back. This is what we’ve come up with so far . . .
